Colorado boating information

Colorado law requires any vessel with a motor or sail operated in Colorado on any public water to be registered with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
Anyone operating a motorboat which includes personal watercraft (PWC or jet ski) in Colorado must be at least 16 years old.
In Colorado, navigation lights must be displayed between sunset and sunrise and at times of restricted visibility.
